Headliner Removal?

I hate doing this cause I am no dummy when it comes to working on cars, but has anyone had any luck with removing the headliner out of one of these 300c's. If so please help me. The headliner is down but won't come out of the car. I have tried twisting and turning it for about an hour or so and no luck. I will try again tonight but I feel pretty stupid that I cant get it out. HELP PLEASE.

Removal

In the factory the headliner is inserted through the rear window opening. I had mine replaced and they pulled the windshield (needed to be replaced anyway) and put the headliner in through the front.

Thanks guys, I am also thinking it comes out through the windshield. The trunk opening is atleast a foot saller than the headliner-not coming out that way. I am thinking that someone with a suede headliner will be able to help me-obviously they had to get their headliner taken out somehow. Any shop number that I could call of helpful people-not A**holes that won't give you the time of day- would be great too.

Also, I called a local glass place and they told me that if they remove the glass it will break. So if its coming through the windshield the perfectly good glass is wasted and I don't want that. Any comments?

A service manual or body shop flat rate book might be helpfull. I find it hard to believe you would have to take front or rear glass out to change. Can it be curved with the center high and the edges pushed in through the trunk? When I've done other cars bending without creasing was involved.

To remove the headliner once the car is built, move the two front seats all the way to the front and fold the two front seat backs all the way down to the back seat cushion .Cover your dash with a blanket as the headliner will scratch the dash cover if they scrape together .Also remove the front overhead center console (sunglass holder )in the headliner , makes folding much easier. Your going to need a helper, to get it out. You need one guy to go in the back and fold the headliner over into a U-shape, wrapping your arms around the sides . Don’t fold it in half as it will crease. Now your helper will do the same in the fight front door opening. Now it’s up to you both to slide this thing out the right front door opening. That’s how they do it ay the plant. See if you had a magnum it would be so much easier out the rear hatch

Wrong, the headliner is inserted through the front window opening before the windshield is put in
