Seat Heaters to Seat Coolers is't possible ?

Hi Guys ... is it possible to convert the seat heaters to cold air ventilations instead ???

I'm living in the middle east and the weather is darn hoooot her and it's getting worse ... I don't know why they have seat heaters in the ME version in the first place ... I guess they have a mutual interest with a hemorrhoids Doctor

Anyway waiting for your replies ...

I have no idea what it would take to do something like that, but I’ve sure thought of it. Living in south Florida the coolers would sure be nice……………ahhhhhhhhh…..cooled buns. Instead it is like riding on a heating pad……and it sure does get hot. I’ve heard they will become available in 2008’s model??? Maybe time for a trade.

There are kits made to make seat cooling, however to take the best advantage of seat cooling the seat should be perforated.

There wouldn't be any such thing as "A conversion."

The seat heaters don't blow hot air under your keister, they use elements like in an electric blanket. Therefore, I don't see why you can't have both stock heaters and aftermarket cheek-chillers.

I would be interested in an aftermarket cold seat application but I think it would be very complex to install and very pricey.

Seat Ventilation & Heating System Kit

OEM quality seat accessory designed to keep passengers cool or warm while sitting on leather or cloth seat surfaces.

The Seat Ventilation System circulates cabin air throughout the seat, removing moisture and keeping the occupant cool. A heating element is integrated making this option great for all seasons. The system has high/low settings for seat cooling and seat heating.

Spider is from Omen and quite hot. If you have ever been in a car and it is hot on leather particularly, you become hot and sweaty. Under some conditions this would fun, . But for everyday use it would not. A lot of more expensive car now days have cooled seats.
