Ok, there are two screws/bolts under the little rubber mat that is under your ashtray. The little rubber mat will pop right off and isn't hled in by anything.

The other 4 screws/bolts are in the bottom of you armrest. You need to open the armrest and remove the rubber lining in the bottom. It is not held in by anything just like the little rubber mat by the ashtray. After removing those screws/bolts the center console will give you some room to work. If you want to remove the entire console, you will need to pop off the trim to the shifter and give you more space.

Hope this helps!
Lee

p.s. I say screws/bolts because I can't for the life of me remember if they are one or the other. I THINK they are in fact bolt heads, but you'll know as soon as you look

Good luck man, let me know if you need anything else.

p.s. Do you have the service manual in pdf form? I do if you would like it since it tells you everything about the car and how to take it apart.
