Photos of my Console Cover and NEW 22elite Arm Rests!

Well, I received and installed (took a whopping 5 minutes) the 22elite arm rest kit for my 300C. I thought I’d share the experience with a few photos. These arm rests match the interior leather perfectly and were a snap to install (can you clean off the arm rest and then set the padded arm rest where you want it?). The arm rests go perfectly with the console cover.

James was a pleasure to work with and he delivered very quickly. Dang fine product and it really makes the interior of the 300 look just that much more upscale. Plus, my elbows will thank him on my next long trip!

The arm rests are backed on plywood and have an additional spacer that is wood-like (might be more plywood). There is some sort of VERY STICKY double sided tape there.

Clean off the rubber arm rest and make sure it is dry. Place arm rests where you want them and you are done my friend. They don't feel like they are going anywhere! I pulled and tugged on them pretty well. They are stuck.

One tip is to make sure you line up each side the same distance from the edge (so they are placed in the same spot on either side).

Another 22elite success story!

Thanks for the pictures ... I've got the same color interior and I ordered the same items (though I've been waiting about 2 weeks - was hoping it would have been faster) but was a bit concerned about the color match. It looks like an all but perfect match.

The picture of the front door arm rests looks like the front edge of the rest isn't the same angle as the edge of the door pull area ... is that so or is it just the picture?

Dang, I didn't notice it until you mentioned it.

I tried hard to get both arm rests equal distance back from the door pull ledge. I think you might just be right that the first photo shows a slightly crooked arm rest.

However, looking at them in a car, it's pretty hard to see any imperfections!

A nice tip list would have been good to have (i.e. measure back from door pull equal distance for each pad, align to XYZ edge, etc.).

Better luck,

Scott
