Question ****Brass Balls ****

I'd like to find a sufficently sized-1 3/4" to 2" " Brass Ball ",
preferably one that has been "tapped"
to our Thread / Size of 8mm X 1.25.

Anybody have a Link or connection
where I might find this ?

Here's a link...

Liberty Brass 1-800-345-5939

Click the "Brass Balls" link on the right of the page. They note on their web site that if you don't see the balls that you like they stock over 1,000,000 balls in other sizes as well as no quantity too large or small.

Just out of curiosity is this for the gear shifter? If not they do boast sizes up to 6 inches now that would be a nice set of brass balls!

LMAO

wow, such a random question.
i don't think you can just buy brass balls at your corner hardware store, but if you are able to find one/some cheap, either drill/tap them yourself or take them to a machine shop.any big place that fixes cars should have a drill press. simply have them put it in the press and drill a hole. then either have them tap it or just buy a single tap from the hardware store (i just bought a 1/4-20 which cost 2.99) and tap it yourself. you could save some money that way, over having someone somewhere drill and tap one custom for you.

I think Dubster may have a pair....

How about an 8-ball? You could just rip one off at a bar!

Brass turns green if you don't rub it enough.....
