Seatbelt dash light

I did the mod where you plug the seatbelt in like 5 times real fast with it in the "AC" position and it worked fine, however the light stays on the dash.

I would love to get rid of the red light, just not understanding the method I read. I heard that you push something into the female end of the seatbelt until it clicks, and that fixes it. Also, if you do that can you still use the seatbelt properly? In other words, it still locks in place and everything works as normal, just when its not plugged in the light is off the dash?

Do you have to do it to both front seatbelts to disable the light?

Ahhhh so you have to do it every single time. That makes this mod useless in my opinion.

Thanks Ultimatecarman, this was not useless IMO. I always buckle up but there are those occasional times when your passengers fight you and just let that thing ding in your face. You can't always force people to do what they don't want to do asside from telling them buckle or you're not riding with me, which I have done before.

Besides Mark (freebird mark) has another solution, but I'm not talented like he is to take my cluster apart and remove the led that lights up that little light.
My point exactly, I respect my Dad too much and he is old enough to know better. It was an easy fix and I too can not and will not try the other way so I appreciate your advice on this.
