Black Ostrick, Consol cover, Fiberglass Sub boxes! UPDATE with finished pics PG 2

Hey, just wanted to share my newest mod ! I've been working on building custom sub boxes for my trunk, built into the sides so i can have access to my spare tire, anyway, i did a bunch of bondo work on the fibergalss boxes, and i realized instead of painting then why not just cover them in Ostrich !

So today, i went out and bought the Ostrich vinyl, and was about to cover the sub box, when i thought why not cover my center consol !

It wasn't that hard, took less than an hour. I bought some foam for some padding, i used some spray on adhesive for the long edges, and some hot glue for the folds in the corners.

I'll try to get some pictures posted for you guys.

Here is the passanger side sub box, that will be covered:

Looks out of place... are you going to do the seats as well? I like the sub boxes though.

Hey, sorry i've been away all day, yeah im planning on doing as much as i can in the new ostrich.. i just spent the last few hours, making the other 4 padded arm rests, i want to get my headliner done, i have a few burn holes in my current one.. I'd have to get that profesionally done, so it's going to be a little more costly, and i really wanted my seat inserts done, that'll looks cool.

im not sure what else i can do.. i would like to find more parts of the car that i can easily remove, cover and reinstall. Any Sudgestions ? How hard is it to remove the Carpeted part of my door panels ? Cause that would be nice to get rid of...

It looks good. I really want to see the finished product after you get it all done! It's like setting off your wardrobe with something exotic....like a pair of ostrich boots or gator shoes.

Just wanted to let you know that if you ever wanted to do your door panels, seat skins, headrest, or get door arm rests in ostrich, we could make them for you. Just let us know.
