Thanks for the pics. That really does look great. I contacted James via e-mail to get one ordered today. That cheesy rubber console just doesn't have the right look - this does.

The pictures I posted today, were the first ones I have taken of the car. Pretty sad, huh? I never thought to take before and after pics.

One other point, with the padding it is much softer on the elbows.

How much padding, and what kind? Was the cover oversized so it would fit with the padding?
I like a lot, by the way.

I just ordered the standard console cover, and my husband put 1/2" foam on the original console and then stretched the leather cover over it. You will need very strong fingers, because it will be tight.

It really does look nice. However, I wish I would have ordered dark stiching instead of contrasting light gray stiching.

I was wondering if it just came that way or if it was an option. I agree that dark would be nicer, but the light looks good too.

If you go to the first post in this thread, you will see a posting by Aspendog. I purchased my console cover from him. I emailed him and told him that I wanted the dark slate cover. He said light stiching or dark. You will actually have a choice, since he makes the covers to order.

I purchased a dark console cover from Aspendog and can vouch for the quality. Was fairly easy to put on once He gave me a few tips. Well worth the upgrade!
