I know it is on the "C" and tourings but what about the base (can anyone confirm?) There IS a reason DCX put it on the gate as well... Like I said, if one wants to discuss one feel free to PM me.

Edit: Is there is any way to display the gear on the knob? Obvoiusly the signal is inside the cluster. It would be easy to hide the wiring in the boot. That would be sweet...

Can these "Slip-on Covers" be made with Padding already sewn in the Top ?...
I'd like to have a nicely 'Stuffed' Top Cover. Good Idea Anyway !

They are not exactly a "slip on" but are made to fit only the LX console. Take a look at the install instructions here

The foam is glued down first so we can't sew it to the cover.
