"C" Cluster Installed

Well guys I installed a C cluster into my Base 300. I got the cluster from Meister (Thanks again M) It was plug and play. I dont know if everything in the C cluster works with the base but the following did. The temp, It says door ajar instead of just a pic, It says Key In when you put the key in, The compass didnt show and I dont have the radio controls to see if any EVIC stuff worked. Upon start up a chrysler emblem shows in the screen. Oh also I know in the C it just has PRND but when I hooked up the cluster it did register 3 and L.

I ended up just taking my old cluster and put the gauge face of the C cluster and the Plastic cover with the chrome rings over my old cluster brains....I was going to send it to Navtogo to have them change the miles on the C cluster but since I dont have a job yet (I dont start til March 12th) I figured this was just as good!!! So now I do have some cluster brains if any one interested in them just pm me!!! Here are the pics. I know its just regular stock for C guys but who the hell has a base 300 that the speedo reads 160 besides me???

is the speedo accurate? I would think there would be a calibration problem...

Nope its accurate. When you take the needles off your just have to set them correctly back on.

Send a message via AIM to DYNAMITE44
so i assume the odometer information is stored in the gauge cluster, not the engine computer (PCM, ECM, whatever you want to call it). interesting.

On the gauge cluster is the CCN.

The 160mph speedo probably extends out further than the 140mph speedo, so it probably reads up to 140 and then stops.

Great mod and a better looking cluster than on the base!
