KidCoastal's Custom Interior Install

Ok well I'm gonna start by saying that 1FastSedan (Adam), Kidcoastal (Stephen) and myself got so involved in doing this that we kinda forgot to take pictures during the process...

We replaced the covers on all the seats and the rear bolsters. I opted not to remove the seat frames from the car to help avoid damaging the weight sensors in the passenger seat. So we removed the actual cusions, which is actually a whole lot easier.

All of the seat cusions and backings have upolshtry bars (not sure if that is the correct term or not) that are held on with these little ringlet things, so removal requires untwisting the rings and remove the bar, then moving it to the new seat and retwist and secure the rings and bars.

This process is used to keep the centers formed and tight to the seat. Then there are plastic track style "attachments" that secure the outer edges to the metal frames of the seats.

The SRT8 and Daytona front seats have zippers up the back, but the standard seat do not, I would be interested to know if James at 22Elite can put zippers on, as it would make the change over and access to the interior of the seat easier, especially for those that want to add headrest T.V.'s and run the cables down the seats...

So here are the pictures... KidCoastal had one hell of a wrestling match trying to get the stock headrest covers off and the replacements on, the funny thing is he opted to do them because he thought they would be one of the easier things to do ...

This is 1fastsedan (Adam) fighting with one of the front seats

oh yeah and my 300 hiding in the driveway
