I havent done it on a 300, I did it n my magnum when I swapped seat skins for Daytona skins.

The lap belt can be stuff under the bench, the deck mounted Belt mech will be a bit more work and I WOuld think you would have a missing spot or a empty lump where the belt should go. Just look for the mounting bolts in the trunk and take them loose and that SHOULD be about all you have to do.

Take a few pictures for other to see

remove the seat cushion (lower bench part) by pulling up on either side.

unbolt the nut that it runs to (i'm thinking 15mm but might be a 17mm)

the plastic cover in the rear deck just pops out, if you are just trying to hide the seat belt, pop out the cover run the seatbelt into the slot (might use some fabric on the metal part to keep from rattling) and tuck it in, put the plastic piece back on.

if you are going to remove it, then the rear deck cover has to come off, you need to unbolt and unclip both rear seat bolsters, then there are 2 phillips screws one on either side and a plastic clip in the center, pull those out and carefully slide the deck piece forward.

then from inside the trunk you need to remove the upper cover and unbolt the seat belt tensioner.

I will advise you that it is against federal regulations to remove a seatbelt from the car and then sell the car, so make sure you keep it to put it back if/when you sell the car.

this will also void the 100,000 mile seat belt warranty on the car FYI.

Great info...Ill have to look closer at the hiding option... If I go with the removal, Ill take pics when I get around to doing it.

That middle belt just bothers me when I put the seat down, they should have out more thought into the engineering

yeah my Chevy had a release button that you pushed with the ignition key and it retracted into the rear deck.

I've actually got the parts to do this:

Seat Belt Extender

just haven't had the time.. I should've done it when I did my SRT seat swap but i forgot. I am going to use it to extend the middle belt and have a quick release latch on it.

it's the male side I'm going to lengthen, and they made a snap buckle for it.
