Group Buy, Custom Aluminum Pedals

Hi all,

My name is Rob from Ultimate Pedals.

We signed up as vendors a couple of weeks ago and are finally getting around to introducing ourselves.

We are a machine shop in Southern Florida and have a line of racing pedals that we manufacture in house.

Here are some sample 300C pedal photos (frosted anti-slip,our most popular finish, shown).

Brake Pedal:

Flanged Footrest:

Gas:

More images can be seen at our website:

www.ultimatepedals.com

Our 300C line can be viewed here:

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...p?cPath=36_168

We custom make every order so customization is no problem.

In additional to pedals made specifically for your vehicle, we offer custom engraving, heel toe gas pedal extensions, heelguards, door sills, etc…

At this time we would like offer a group buy.

(This is going to be quite long, but for some of you this is your first GB so I am going to explain it all very thoroughly)

Basically you can buy any of our products for the 300C and get 35% off.

We offer a no questions asked, moneyback guarantee, if you are not satisfied with the fit or finish.

Other forum members really enjoy the product.

Now down to the nitty gritty…

Custom engraving is extra. Price ranges from $10 for three initials to $25 for complex custom logos or emblems. NO COLOR IN THE ENGRAVING, it is just an engraving like what you would see on the back of a watch or inside a ring.

The pedals will have the 35% discount, all engraving will not.

You can view engraving examples at the following link (scroll down to the bottom of the page):

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/pedal.htm

The group buy is active as of now, and the last day for ordering is April 2nd (I know this is late but I try to give everyone two pay days in order to get in on it).

The items will be shipped April 8th. (All pieces have to be custom made and depending on how many orders it may be the 11th but we are shooting for the 8th.)

Shipping charges are typically ~$12 (UPS Ground within the Continental US).

So now that all that stuff is done, How do I get my Discount?

Preferably, if you have a pretty straight forward order, please use our website.

Our 300C line can be viewed here:

http://www.ultimatepedals.com/catalo...p?cPath=36_168

Specify your vehicle, the 300C Forum group buy, as well as any engraving options during the checkout process when you are asked to indicate year, make, and model.

If you don't mention the 300C Forum group buy you'll get your pedals quickly, but not discounted.

Also, with the website you won’t see the discount automatically, and you will get a confirmation email pretty quickly. That email will not have the discount applied to it, DONT WORRY....You are not charged until the items are shipped, and the set up of our software cannot compute a discount, it has to be manually accounted for. So when the items are ready to be shipped, you will get two more emails. The first email will be from our merchant bank and will let you know that your card has been charged the discounted price.

The second e-mail will be from UPS Quantum View (for the US orders) with your order’s tracking number.

You can also call us, please try to use our website unless you really hate internet shopping or you have a custom order, it takes up a lot of manpower to answer questions by phone.

Please post any questions in this thread, I will answer questions as quickly as possible.

I should point out ultimatepedals.com is not a Chrysler product, but hey neither is 300cforums, so its all good.

Sorry for the very lengthy instructions, but I hate when there is not enough info.

Also PLEASE POST WHEN YOU HAVE MADE AN ORDER, AND JUST SAY HOW MANY PIECES YOU ORDERED (1, 4, ETC ETC).

Rob Baylor

Hi Rob,

I was about to place an order for a set of pedals designed by one of our members. The set sells for $79.00. Here is their product:

http://www.autovation.net/groupbuy/300_C/main.html

I just looked at your site - Ultimate Pedals. Very nice, but unless my math is wrong, your pedals total to over $300.00 - less 35%.

How do I justify the difference?

Hi Northern Rider,

Thanks for your reply.

I'm not sure how you arrived at over $300, unless you add engraving to all the pedals, and get our flanged driver footrest.

The other manufacturer does not include engraving, does not offer a flanged footrest, does not cover the entire footrest area (theirs is oval shaped), and uses a different type of anti-slip than our pedals, raised edges around the countersunk holes only, versus our box pattern which covers the entire pedal (very similar to a very coarse bastard file).

Closeup of our anti-slip pattern:

If you ordered four pedals (gas, brake, parking brake, and driver footrest) in our most expensive finish, frosted anti-slip, the price would be $241 before the discount and $156.65 after the discount.

Our shiny anti-slip finish would be $221 before the discount and $143.65 after the discount.

You can also just get the anti-slip finish on the brake and smooth on all the other pedals, which would further reduce the price.

Please note, as stated earlier, that we offer a footrest that covers the entire carpeted area (versus just the oval) and can also offer a flanged footrest that wraps around the right side for $10 extra (before discount).

Our anti-slip finish is machined into the entire pedal surface and provides grip second to none, wet or dry guaranteed.

If you don't agree simply send the pedals back and we will gladly refund the cost of the pedals.

Finally, our pedals are an exact match for the original pedals. We add 1/8" all around to ensure the pedals completely cover the stock pedals (the other manufacturer does not appear to be an exact match especially on the gas pedal).

Our goal is to produce a product that looks like it came from the original manufacturer or better.

We pride ourselves in total customer satisfaction knowing that the most discriminating of automobile owners select our products for its superior quality.

On closer examiniation of the two products you will realize that we are not compairing apples to apples.

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

So Ultimate Pedals; how are your pedals mounted? I was looking at the examples that you have, and the others that were shown above. Do yours also have visible screw heads mounting them or are yours different?

Rob, my math was wrong. $221.00, before discount was the correct total. My apologies.

Hi Model 57,

Thanks for your reply.

You are correct, you will see the heads of the provided stainless steel flat head mounting screws.

You can see our detailed mounting instructions at our website by selecting the How to.. link and then select the Install from the drop down list, or by clicking on the following link :

Thanks for your reply Northern Rider.

Please also note that part of the purchase price of our pedals goes to sponsor this website.

Could you please provide pics of the pedals "actually" installed in a 300?

I am especially interested in how the "foot rest" piece is mounted. How is it secured and exactly how does it fit over the existing area?

Thanks!

My initial impression is that I like these a lot better than the other ones we have been offered.

JFF

Can you give dimensions? Especially for the footrest and heelguard. There's no point of reference to see just how big these are.

Thanks,
Jeff

I second that thought - I'd really like to see the driver's foot rest installed. The stock rest gets dirty far too easily.
