Engine Cover Painting Service Available Soon

I am pleased to announce that www.22elite.com will soon be offering Engine Cover Painting Services. We will be able to color match, or custom paint any color you want. Our plans are to offer one style body color matched or Hemi Orange that will mask off the "HEMI" logo on the sides (leaving a shadow in black) as well as leave the top portion (silver piece that has 5.7 Hemi and the logo) unpainted for $199 plus a $100 core charge that will be refunded when we get your cover back in good condition. We will use heat tolerant paint with a flex additive as well as a nice clear coat on the painted surfaces. If custom masking or graphics are wanted we will have to quote those on a case by case basis. I should have it up and running by early next week. We just ordered cores today.

I attatched a couple pics of my cover that we did a few months ago as a reference. There was a little additional masking on mine around the perimeter of the top portion as well as the 5.7 Hemi. There is also some custom pinstriping done. This type of custom work on the cover would cost $349 for a reference.

I am definitely into this one ADOG as I am not the do-it-yourself type. I even pay to have my yard kept up so tell me what I need to do to get one in DLR, with no pinstipes. I plan on going with the stainless engine upgrades and the DLR would be the perfect compliment.

Thanks for the update on this. I like what yours looks like, since the one I have ordered is Cool Vanilla.

This is off the topic a bit, but is there any information on that recessed grill? I remember seeing it on a couple cars, but does anyone have a site to buy one?

James, I'm interested in the painted cover exchange too, when they are available.
