Engine cover project completed

Here are a couple of pics of my latest project for my 300C. I probably spent more than enough time and money on this small engine cover mod. The cover was first sent out to be color matched, then I had someone hand paint silver pinstripe accents for added detail and finally applied chrome letters and ribbing. The cover turned out very nice. I guess I will have to start popping my hood more often.

Look nice by the way what type of paint did you use. I have the Magnesium
pearl coat , I do have a can of the factory paint which is a lacker base paint.

I didn't paint the cover. I paid a shop to do the work.
Sorry.

NE1 know what type of paint is used? Does the paint shop use high temp engine paint? How do you keep the paint looking good with the engine bay temps.

There's no reason to use high temp paint. The cover is made of plastic. If the cover got that hot the engine compartment would probably be on fire.
