Sun Visor holder - anywhere I can buy online?

Hello,

So I was driving one day and I put the visor back in it's holder and it spontaneously broke. Does anyone know if I can buy this online somewhere? Or should I just go to the dealer and get it there? I have a 2005 Chrysler 300C Hemi :-)

thanks,

*Cindy

Had the same thing happen to me in my 05. Didn't really look to see if there's anyplace to buy online. Went to the dealer and ordered one. Was a non-stock item. Took about a week to get.

That was one of the most common problems in 2005 and evidently still is from time to time. Mine has never broken, but from the sounds of it they're just too flimsy. Apparently the part is only around $2, so you might just as well go to the parts department and order one if they don't have one in stock. Just replace it yourself too.

part is actually $8-$10 at most dealerships. Mine broke and I picked one up in the US for $5. However I have seen them on ebay for cheap aswell but nothing for $2

This is the cheapest i know of that you can buy online (auction is for 2 clips). eBay Motors: Chrysler 300 300C sun visor retaining clip 1EJ51BD1AA (item 310022597303 end time Mar-12-08 16:30:25 PDT)

Thanks! Well at least it's not an outrageous price. I'm wondering if the part is better made for the 06's and newer because it seems everyone who's had a problem has an 05.

EDIT: Thanks for the link, but it's hardly worth it from eBay seeing as the shipping costs would eat up any savings. Matter of fact it would cost more.

lol yeah, but if you cant find it for $5 in your area then youll be paying the $8-$10 each plus taxes and gas driving to the dealership , basically same price but again thats the cheapest i know of online.

We have an '06, broke the drivers side.
Some where on here, there is a GM part no. for the clip and if I remember right it was cheaper than DCX.
The difference is that the hook is 180* turned around.
Try a search for it.

I read that on here too. Not sure on the part # , but Im almost positive they are the holders for the new Impalas. Much stronger than ours and they bolt on.

I actually just ordered one from my dealer this morning, $6.88USD, he'll have it tomorrow, then they're going to mail it to me.
