Glassed in Radio Bezel

Here are some pictures of what I did. I fiberglassed in the radio bezel to my pioneer head unit. I felt the aftermarket kits left much to be desired. Not sure yet if I will be painting it silver or black to match the exterior. I am leaning towards a high metalic silver. Whatever color I decide, the rest of the off white portion of the interior will be sanded smooth and painted to match the bezel.

Nice job with your creativity. I think the final look will be classy.

i've contemplated painting my bezel, but i was worried about what i'd do around the little cubbyhole. i know lukeinva just taped his off when he painted, but i kind of like what you did, painted inside of it. the only real downside i see to that is you won't be able to get good coverage inside there.

great looks so far.

Here is the finished product. Its hard to tell, but it has a big bright flake in it with a bright face to it.

Hey guys thanks for the comments. Not a bad suggestion Murderedout. That might help fill in that space below the headunit like was mentioned earlier. I will start probably this week smoothing and painting the rest of the interior. Hopefully I will be done in a few weeks. It depends on if you can hear my sanding outside of the garage at nights. Thanks again guys.
