Sueding Headliner Issues

I am in the process of sueding the headliner, but I am running into a few problems.

1. I got the headliner dropped and I did remove it from the car, through the rear driver door. I had to bend it pretty severely and only did it that way because I am gonna suede it and cover up all the wrinkles. So what is the proper way of taking the headliner out of the car? I will need to know for a smoother reinstallation.

2. The rubber trim around the sunroof, is Tan of course I want to make it black. Anyone successfully dye it or otherwise?

3.Sunroof cover, with the headliner out. I also need to suede the sunroof cover. How do I remove it from the car? It seems to be all one peice, bolted into the roof of the car and riveted together glass, tracks, and cover. I can remove the whole assembly motors and all but ti doesnt really give any insight onto the removal of just the cover peice.

PS- Nvm #3, I lowered the rear of the sunroof assembly, scrapped off the green foam squares glued to the roof of the car and slid the cover out the rear of the tracks.

Which door did you remove it from? The front doors have the widest openings, but I was unable to manuever the cover in a way to remove it from the front. I dropped the headliner, pushed it all the way back to the rear window, then moved it forward tot he right of the steering wheel, so that the front right corner was out the front pass door and the the left rear corner was out the driver rear door, then I almost had to fold it in half to get it out the rear driver door. There is probably an easier and less distructive way, I just gotta find it.

I've read that taking out the back window is the other option.

So in my attempts to put the headliner back in, I has to fold the crap out of it almost in half. But its truely the only way possible. I myself went from the pass front door. But by folding it in half, you can get it in from any door I assume. I creased the cardboard backing and even tore it in some spots. But there is not other way. Good thing I sueded it, to cover up all the wrinkles. Chrysler must have installed it in first before putting the windows on. Poor design if you ask me.
