INSTALLING Steering Wheel Installation w/ Radio Controls

I'm new here. Nice to meet everybody.

PROBLEM:

I want to install the Chrysler OEM Steering Wheel w/ radio controls into my girlfriends 300. She has a 2.7L 300 that has the Navigation Radio.

Is there a special input on the back of the Nav Radio where the steering wheel connects directly?

Or does the steering wheel connect directly to the steering column - at which point another lead goes on to connect to the Nav radio?

I don't understand the nature of the connection - so I want to be sure that I can actually get the steering wheel and connect it to the radio we have.

THANKS.

it won't work even if you get the harness, the software won't reconize them and there is no way to activate in starscan.

You can install the wheel for looks only if you want the wood wheel but the radio functions will not work and you must use the original harness or the horn will not work also. But for appreaence only it will look nice at least.
