*Ultimate Pedals Installed*

I received my pedals earlier in the week and installed them today. I went over to JonW's who helped me do the install. These pedals are a work of art, a real nice touch and the grip is amazing. JonW took some pics with and without the foot rest.

Thanks for the help Jon.

Looks fabulous! I am installing my pedals tomorrow, a couple of questions.

How deep did you go to screw in the dead pedal, is it in metal? If so, did you remove the fender liner to see if the screw tips are visible and apply a rust preventative, not for the stainless screws but for the hole in the stock metal.

How many screws did you use to secure the brake pedal, looks like 2.

The dead pedal has a plastic piece behind it, just drill it and use the self tapping screw. I removed the rubber boot on the brake pedal and used 4 screws with nuts on the brake. For the e-brake use 2 self tapping screw. Just take your time.

These pedals are top notch.

Thanks, I'll post when I'm done. I think the SS brake lines will be more of a challenge. The Mrs. does not know about these yet, I hope she does'nt figure it out when she's pumping the pedal as I bleed the system, she is actualy cool with it all but does'nt quite get it, it's a Hemi thing, I don't expect her to understand.

I added some more self tap screws to the footrest / dead pedal than were supplied just to be certain it stayed dead (with Robertson flatheads).

I am with you NR, I used 3 self taps on the gas, 2 on the e brake and only had 3 left for the dead pedal. I am going to pick up 2 more stainless screws tomorrow at the hardware store, I have some regulars but don't want any rusty heads. Very few people know what a Robertson head is, that is the same head with pseudo Philips extensions for the screws on the stock grille and came out much easier with the Robertson bit. I am going to use whatever I find in stainless. Installation was an absolute breeze and they look great.
