Glass roof on 300C's?

Well, it's been a while, but the mad dreams have returned. My current car has a panoramic glass roof, which I absolutely love, and after seeing the same thing done as a custom mod on a 300C, it's been added to the 'insane shopping list'. Does anyone have a rough idea what something like that would cost, and terms of legality/vulnerability? The glass roof on my C4 is designed to be hail-proof, but this 300C was a show car so I doubt that was a concern for them. I'd probably also install electric blinds to block off the sky when desired, the C4 has manually-operated ones that latch in the middle, I figured if I did it on the 300C I'd make it automatic for that extra touch of class.

Feedback on costs and ideas?

I was just talkin about that the other day about how cool it would be to have a manufacturer come out with a glass roof kit. I know I'd like one myself!

Thumbs up

TommyZ's glass roofs are insane. Here's a couple of pics I took of his LWB, and also of his ride at the Detroit DUB Show.

Theres another company that sells them too, with even more glass and a stainless steel surround for the rest of the roof. I think its Classic Design Concepts, and they run about $3500 installed

Plus, you can't forget the stainless top with the panoramic glass in the Chrysler 300c Barbie Edition.

Here's a link:

Classic Design Concepts 300 Glassback

Anyone see their trunk lid trim panel? Looks nicer than those pieces on Ebay... actually follows the shape of the trunk.

Okay. I knew I would eventually find the thread below. Please check out the beautiful glass roof on our own 3CF member's SRT, Tim Skelton.
