What are those bolts???

So it appears the front seats are held in by some sort of reverse torx bolt. Where do I procure the tool to remove them praytell? Thanks for the input...

You can use a 6 point regular socket on them if you can't find the proper
socket.

I have these same bolts on my 1985 Jeep CJ-7 holding in the starter, and
when I have to remove it, I just use a 3/8 6 point socket, as it grips all
six of the reverse torx points.

The 3/8 6 point regular socket is what fits my Jeeps starter bolts, you may
need a different size for the seat, but a 6 pointer will work.

Exclamation No

No, the front seats are held in by regular old metric bolts, 2 in front and two in back on either side. The seat belt is connected with a reverse torx bolt. The proper socket is available at Sears etc...

BTW: If you do remove the front seats you may very well get an intermittent air bag warning light. That can only be corrected by a visit to the dealer to get the airbag sensors recalibrated. And whatever you do, DO NOT sit in the seats when they are out of the car. You will screw up the sensors, and may need to replace them.

In case you haven't figured it out, I've had my seats out a few times
