I'm sure I'll catch a lot of chit for saying this, but that shop is a joke! I've watched the show over and over and I've never seen so many dorks in my life. The work they put out is horrible. Sure, anyone can un box things and put them to play, but I'm talking about custom work.

They get a lot of work from pro athlete's and alike...because those guys don't know good custom quality.

Once they had $6500 wheels that would not fit a car they were "customizing" they took a hand drill and honed out the holes to make it fit. It was a joke to watch...

I agree, the fact that he's doing well appears mostly to do with his clients being morons...
I saw an episode where he was gonna charge $22,000 to do a system and some seat piping and some dash work that you can get done at Patterntek....anyway, they are always half assing everything and the show sucks. I wanna smack that castro idiot as well. With the back of my hand.

300Magnum on LXForums painted his dash. Here's some details: PAINTED DASH COMPLETE!!!!! (thank god!) - LX Forums Modern Mopar Muscle

He described the process to me last weekend at the All Texas M&G and it didn't sound too tough. Aaron works in a body shop and has done all the work on the car.

Vinyl Dye/Paint - Product Details - Parasol Inc.

I havent done it myself so not speaking from experience but i think dye would be the better way to go.

The stuff in the link above is an actual dye so it canot be scratched or flake off.

I will be giving it a try on some test pieces in about a 3 weeks from now. I will post up the results.
