I really like the clean look but my eye was drawn to the red hose. I would try to hide it maybe.

Looks good! I have been slacking installing a 10" just like that. I just want a little more as well. My Tahoe had 3 12" JL Audios with over a thousand watts, then my F-350 crew dually with 6 8" JL Audio subs behine the rear seat; you could punch the glass out it moved so much air. Now I'm over it, my home system is a work of art and I could put twenty large in the car and it would never come close. Too small a sound stage.
