Well here is the deal. I found these resellers from ebay. Look here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
I contacted them and they said that they usually sell these for $750 - $850. Their website is www.caroptions.com although all the other stuff they sell our supporting vendors sell. I would rather deal with the supporting vendors here. But the are distributers for Katzkin. I have the owners name and number to discuss the specifics of a group deal.

I pulled the $700 number out of thin air because i figure if they are getting $750 - 850 and then having to pay all the ebay and paypal fees. They certainly can sell them for $700 on a group buy.

If we can get a solid number of definate buyers, then i can call him to negotiate the group buy. Or we can just contact them and buy individually.

I agree. Is there an email address for him? If they are willing to work with us then im all for it.

I'm also going to talk to my dealer today. Before they quoted me $1k for leather. And that included everything. They said they would need the car for 2 days because they remove the interior, blah blah, i don't know what they do. I'll see if they are getting the interiors from the same place and if they can do the 2 tone.

Send a message via AIM to castrol
Easiest way to do it is to call him in person. He can give you the options, walk you
through the website and tell you what it will cost you right then and there. If you want
it, you go for it, if not, he will hold that pattern for you until you decide to get it. You
can change your colors, themes, embroidery patterns... all of it. Great guy to deal with
too. They are in North Carolina, so he is probably gone for the day already, but call in
tomorrow and ask for Ted Harris.

Here is their site, which is a little difficult for me to navigate.

Oh yeah, don't forget to tell him castrol sent ya.

Ok, i'll try to set this up tomorrow. I'll post details on price and such. The bust thing about this leather option is that you can have whatever you want, colors materials.

I'm thinking 2 tone with suede and leather.

yeah that's what i am leaning with now. i was originally going to get the grey outside with the black ostrich inside. i think that would be hot, but you cant mess with all of that suede.

I gotta say that Katzkin kit looks alot better then the one aspen has. I'm not sure about the quality as i havent seen them first hand but the looks of the Katzkin one is just hot. I wish i had the $$$ to get it. I went to a local shop & the guy told me he can do a 2 tone job in my car for $1800. Thats just to much for me honesty. All i wanted to do was add another color not redo everything.

Interesting, you have not even seen the back seat just a pic of one front seat in bad lighting. I hope people understand that our kits can be done in ANY material, color, tailoring, combination, etc. I guess you just have to see some things in person to appreciate. I hope you guys really look into the actual product prior to ordering. I will have some info on the Katzkins advertised on ebay for all of you soon (I hope). I have been in contact with the local Katzskins rep today and vinyl is used in some of thier kits (he was very vague). I called the company advertising on ebay and guess what, a cell phone answering service. Sent an email (no response). Please be careful and do your research prior to spending $$$ or at least put in on a CC so you have some recourse.

hey, where would they do this, is it at the actual shop (montebello)? that's not too far and the cheapest price i got for 2 tone leather was $1600 installed. so for anything $1K installed and down would be great. let me know. my shiny new citibank platinum needs to be broken in.

Kit is NOT all leather >>>

FYI:
Here is what you get with the Katzskin kit, notice the white areas are vinyl and the entire backs of the seats are vinyl as well. Just wanted everyone to know it is NOT an all leather kit as advertised.
