300C Trunk Liner from Mopar

I am considering spending the cash and getting a MOPAR brand trunk liner and reinforce the standard weak pressed cardboard. I find that my contents slide around quite a bit. ( It couldn't be my driving, right? ) I usually carry around a bag for the gym, a bag for roadside emergencies, and a laptop bag, nothing overly bulky or outrageous. Upon first appearances, this would seem to resolve the above issues as well as provide a compartment for organization.

Are there any comments on whether or not these liners and their matching trunk organizers are actually worth the investment?
What is the downside that I may not be seeing ?

I bought the trunk liner for my 300C from Weathertech.com and love it. I also bought / installed the cargo net from the local dealer for $18 and both together make a great package. No spills to worry about or anything sliding around.

Molded Cargo Area Tray

I have this one which I think is great. It is molded rubber with a large lip around it to contain any and all spills, has 2 molded in smaller bins to the side to put small items, and is designed to still use the cargo net. Allows you to carry dirty items, or liquids without the fear that a spill will stain the cargo carpet, or get down around the battery.
Its also a perfect fit.

Coincidentally, I picked one up last week....so far, I love it.

The positives:
1) If anything were to spill you could just wipe it up.
2)I like the way both sides behind the wheel well are sectioned off, it's perfect to put my napsack (I have a 22 month old, it's my male version of a diaper bag.)
3) It does give the trunk a more finished look much like what the 22elite cover does for the center console.

The negatives:
1) If you have the trunck loaded up with crap... good luck if you get a bad flat and need to access the spare.

2) My car (a 2005 w/ 17,000 miles) was my dad's car (dad passed away in March)...dad was a handy type of guy and would often fold down one of the rear seats and go pick up wood at Home Depot for some project.... I am not sure how the lip on the mat affect sliding stuff through to the passenger compartment.

For me, since I have a 98 Durango.... I'll use that for the Home Depot / LOWES trips.

Interesting, just last week my friend picked up a Weathertech trunk liner for his brother's brand new Taurus (Formerly the Ford 500) and I had been recommending weathertech based upon my experience with their floor mats (compared to HUSKY floor mats).....to my surprise my friend is a little disapointed with the Weathertech mat, he felt is was a bit thin...... I haven't seen it myself but I now the OEM Mopar deal is NOT thin.

As for my friend's perceptions of Weathertech.... I guess it's like buying a pair of sneakers...what may feel good on my feet might not feel good on yours.
