Suggestions/Help with interior

Hello fellow lx members,

So this weekend I tore apart my car in order to fat mat and install new speakers in the rear deck. Well the fat mat is completed (rear deck and trunk) but my speakers havent arrived yet . So I took it upon myself and decided to wrap my rear deck in suede. Then one thing led to another and now I have gutted my whole interior (except for dash, center console and seats) . I plan on wrapping the headliner, sun visors and a/b/c pillars in black faux suede.

Question:
has anyone wrapped the sunroof cover?

how do i remove it?

what color should i paint the plastic panels (bottom half of door panels, plastics along the doors, rear seats, steering column cover and glove box)?

what color should i paint the plastic pieces on the headliner ie: "o**** handles", roof console and various plastic pieces surrounding the front seat belts (on b pillar)?

Oyeah...my car is brilliant silver and I plan on wrapping the seats in the near future.

input is greatly appreciated. thanks

Send a PM to Mr. iCREDIBLE. I think he redid his interior in a black pseude. Or... do an advanced search for threads started by him (there will be lots!). His picture post will be in the list somewhere.

to answer your question about the sunroof..

when you drop the head liner it will become evident on how to remove it..

just be care not to bend it..

and color match your door stripping with this:

Black leather shoe dye..

you can also soak the rubber sunroof trim in it.. and make it black..

I painted the overhead console and rear grab bars, however the new 2008 challenger has those parts (sunroof trim ring, over head console and rear grab handles) in black..

soon as the parts catalog comes out for it in Aug, I'm buying replacements.. I like the painted ones I did, but with a kid they are a Pain to keep finger prints off.

most of it yes, the headliner was done by a shop who is also a friend.. since he had the tools and know how..

I am working on the door panels now.. color matching all of the interior to dark slate grey/ and black
