Heated seats

i dont know if this is the cause but when i put my HID's in. but now my heated seats are allway on and the LED's dont turn on when i press the switch. what would cause this to happen. i dont think switching to HID would affect the heated seats, the car is a 2007 300c

no i do not think it would affect it. well it should not. i have had my HID kit (high and low and fog light 10,000k) in 2007 and 2006 and heated seats still work.

Anyone smell roasted ass here...haha. Seriously, this is not right and there've been fires due to heated seats in the past. I can't say I've heard of any 300's catching fire, but it's happened to Jeeps - Jeep Grand Cherokees Recalled.

Yep, take it to the dealer. You headlights have nothing to do with this.
A friend at work had a Trailblazer whose heated seats malfunctioned and she was slightly burned from it. She actually had red lines going across her butt and back. She said the ones on her butt were much worse (didn't see those ones though)

Like many systems in our Chrysler 300Cs, the heated seats are controlled by a module. The module for the heated seats is mounted under the front passenger seat. It is wired to, along with other things (like headlights, parking lights, and turnsignals), the Front Control Module (FCM).
Sounds to me, if you had to do any wiring of the HIDs other than unplugging existing connectors and plugging in connectors from the HIDs, that you got some wires crossed.
If so, I suggest that the installation of the wiring be double checked, and/or re-establish the original wiring to see if the heated seats return to normal operation. Then straighten out the wiring problem.
