The S Class Mercedes, Audi A8, BMW 7 Series and a few other cars have rear window "curtains". I know with the S Class the shade curtains are built into the door and what you do is pull it right to the top and clip it onto a hook. Another neat feature on the S Class is you can automatically bring the rear window shade up or down by a botton on the dash.
in the Infiniti Q54, the shades on the rear side doors raise electronically from bottom to top as well as on the rear window. When not in use, they are nearly completely unnoticeable. Would be a great addtion to the car if anyone could find an aftermarket version.
unless you're arabic then curtains make no sense....... get the damn windows tinted and leave it at that -- tinting isn't REALLY that big a deal, my man...... not that SCAAAAAAAAAAAARY really.... buck up!
Is he not allowed to like (or dis-like) something different?

I was wondering is theres a online shop that sells curtains for the 300. My son always askes me for some shades in the back windows & after seeing the BMW & new Toyota i like the look of them. Im not to big of a tint fan.
I know this is not what you are talking about but, they might be usefull to you or others. I have seen the shades you are talkig about on a BMW the other day and I though it was pretty neat.
