i'd be in if the price came down a little, like around the $750 area. how many people would we need to get to get the price in this neighborhood? i'm in no rush so i can wait until we get some more people in on this.

I had a Katzkin leather kit installed in my '96 Windstar, (that I still have). The materials were execllent. I liked the leather much better than the perforated version that the factory had. The cost of the "kit" was about double the cost of the factory leather, but in my opinion well worth it.
The only problem that I have had with it is a small piece on the lower side & front of the drivers lower seat area. This was a part that the dealership damaged while working on my van, and sent it out to a local shop to have it replaced. THAT PIECE IS CRACKING. The rest of the interior looks great, at 9 and a half years, and some 175,000 miles.

It's just a fancier name for 'Pleather' (plastic leather aka vinyl) or Naugahyde aka 'nalgahyde' (covering made from the all elusive 'nalgas') ...lol. From a marketing perspective, what was once acceptable in the 60's (vinyl seats) has to now sound 'politically correct' in order for the consumer to justify 'dropping a 'bundle' on a new vehicle; henceforth, 'Leatherette' seats.

We should have no problem getting to $750 (Deluxe package) with 5+ orders of either package.

I'll commit when specific pricing is available. I'm interested in heated seats, possibly massage seats depending on the price.

ppi- heated seats! in socal... have you been outside?!? hehe...

i'll also commit when we have 5+ people. i'm interested in medium slate colored outers/ with dark slate colored suedeskinz inserts. also with the "Bentley" emblem on the headrests because my name is "B"rian and i thought it'd look cool. how much would shipping be to socal seeing as how they're located in montebello, ca (roughly 30 miles from where i live. could i pick it up from them there?

I was at a local Katzkin dealer today to get pricing and it came out to $1400 installed. $900 for the kit and $500 for installation. A sales rep from Katzkin recommended a color to match the Light Greystone which came nowhere near it. If you want a close to perfect match to Light Greystone, choose "Putty" that's what we all thought came real close.

I'm definitly in. I want to order "Putty" seats with "White" inserts with "White" Piping. Let me know how much and how long it would take to get them.

Good point. Its just really nice in the cold mornings and late night's. I prefer the heated seats over the heater. Plus I live by the beach and it doesn't heat up as much here.

Seems to be a bit more interest around here... I'll put together a grid with prices so everyone will be clear on pricing and options, as well as discounts for a Group Buy.
