I'm quite impressed with the pics Northern Rider posted. Will be ordering one of these soon for my 300c.

May have to farm out the install since I'm not much of a shade tree mechanic!

Here's the only concern I have about this potential install:

What is the long term prognosis about the adhesion of the wood parts, particularly on the rubber areas? I don't want this stuff coming loose after a couple years as I plan to keep the car at least 5 yrs.

Brewdude, the product comes with a special accelerator for the rough plastic surfaces.

Mine has shown no peeling on lifting anywhere, despite the abuse I have heaped onto my car.

The company also makes many of the OEM trim for the major manufacturers. Their quality is superb.

i just had a guy that works with the dealerships install a wood kit. it has a few rough edges, and the wood(real wood veneer) is slightly darker then the stock tortoise shell parts. it has less pieces then NR's kit. the shift insert covers part of the D-R, etc....other then that overall it looks pretty good, im going back manana am to have him redo the part with the rough area. though, im thinking i should have gone with the edashkit version. o well. its done. :-(

I was just about to order a dash kit from Wood Dash Experts Kit # CR3005N-ROEM $447.20 I started reading these letters and decided to wait to see if I can get some response from the members. My Chrysler has the California Walnut trim and I am after an exact match and I want the best kit available, I don't care about saving a few bucks as I have fallen in love with this car and will probably have it a very long time. I would really like to know which product is the best. Much Grass "Hemidale"

I purchased and installed the OEM match (cal. walnut) from edashkit. The quality is superb and the fitting is right on. My only gripe is that the color is not an absolute match. I can see the variations especially in the door handles. But then again, no two pieces of wood are alike. Overall, I'm very happy with this kit. One of these days, I will get off my lazy behind and snap some pictures.

here is a sample of the edashkit Aluminum trim kit:

I chose a 26 piece "basic" kit and I think it looks more fatory style.

THe color matching from center bezel to the aftermarket edash pieces is perfect.

Hope that helps.

To slk320. First nickel dash I have seen. It sure makes the interior look rich. My main complaint with the 300s was the massive amount of "plastic" that you see as you look at the dash. Your kit certainly solves that. Thanx for tle pics. "Hemidale"

Do you by any chance have the kit #? I'm on their website but I don't see a 26 piece kit. I don't like all the wood trim but yours looks very nice and not overdone which is exactly what I'm looking for.
