Just placed my order with EDashkits.com today.

So I finally decided to get the wood dash kit today, and after much research, decided to go with the 76 piece OEM match kit from edashkits.com. I called NYCdashes.com first, and got a price quote from them, and to my suprise they said they no longer were offering forum discounts. they quoted me $447 including shipping for their 72 piece kit. seemed a little steep to me, so i decided to call edash next (you can always get further with a nice phone conversation then sending emails back and forth). the gentlemen at edash kits was more than friendly, and it really makes me feel better doing business with them. i told him about the forum (and to check it out), as he said he had really noticed an increase of people buying these kits for the 300C.
he ended up giving me the 76 piece kit for $350!!!!!!!!!!! including shipping. said i should have it in a week. i think i definatly got a good deal here, and cant wait to get it installed (of couse ill post pics).
so for any of you who are still in the market for a dash kit, i would highly recommend contacting edashkits.com and making your purchase from them. cant speak for the quality of their product yet (although ive heard it was superb), but the customer service definatly met my standards!

Smart move, Lex. That is the same kit that NYCDash are selling. By calling EDashkits, you are buying directly from the manufacturer - and they will send it directly to you. Big savings in time and money.

BTW, it's the same kit I have in my car.

hey stan, their webside is edashkit.com.......i just tried logging on and it worked for me.
youre probably better off calling their number tho: 877-580-1950
i believe the guys name was tom?, whatever it was im pretty sure he'll be the one that answers the phone. i cant guarentee youll get the same deal, but either mention that oliver referred you or you are a member of the forum and you should be good.

jdoubleu, im still anxious to know if you ordered the full 76 piece OEM match kit for that price? if you did id sure appreciate some details! the guy i talked to had asked me if i was the same person that had emailed him, and i can only assume that was you. sure would have liked to get my kit for $65 cheaper! please share you secret!

Stan, make sure you put in the www. first: www.edashkit.com . I'm not a fan of the full wood dash kit, but might like a few select pieces myself.

My other idea is to keep with the black/chrome theme of my BBC is to use the Brushed Aluminum...I wish I could see some pics of the Brushed Aluminum installed.

hey bob, im not sure if you were aware, but wood and brushed aluminum are not the only color options for dash kits! you can get them in just about any color/pattern you want, including black or high-polished chrome.
i think someone out there that wants to be unique and stray aside from the pack should do something other than wood or silver.
i remember seein pics of someone that did a almost dark charcoal wood pattern inside (much like the wood inside jaguars) on a base model and it looked pretty good.
