Albeit the title of the thread is questionable, the interior looks darn nice! Congrats.

Looks great! Not too much. Which kit is this? Where did you get it? How much?

Thanks,

well the wood install does not really go with the DYI spirit of this message board...but alas i will spill the beans. at the HB 300c meet, i met this guy ken, and liked his wood kit. that doesnt sound right. anyway, i saw some other wood kits there as well, but lioked the color of his the best. he gave me the number of the guy who he said did the install...said he got hooked up with them thru his dealer, set him back about 650 clams. anywho, i call the guy, and the guy refuses to do my work, as he "only works with dealers"...i told him thats like me in my biz saying "i can only work with eskimos, show me your igloo and a baby harp seal, or hit the road"...id have barely any biz...anyway, the bass turd wouldnt do the work for me.

so i called my dealership, as i had noticed they did have an already wooded out C on the lot when i bought my rig...and sure enough, its a $900 dealer added option. but the service manager hooks me up with the Dash companys phone and name, i call the guy direct, he agrees to hook me up for 5 fitty in cabbage only.

so....i paid MORE then you DIY'ers did...but LESS then if off the dealer lot....i also got LESS wood then most of the pictured ones i have seen...but that was my choice. could have gotten more. and i had the guy install it...took him about 1/2 hour. he guaranteed it for 3 years. we are playing golf for $20 a side nasau, auto presses at 2, in two weekends at a course i know pretty well. me thinks i will recoup part of that missing 550. the woods a tad darker then the oem stuff inside...still looks bueno though. its a real wood veneer, not the plastic, so it looks a tad off in color, but it is really nice and rich, quality looking. only really notice the off color except when looking at door handles.

i dont know the name of the kit...

well, as i recall, you had a marathon lunch during most of the meet, so im sure it would have been a "post wood handshake", sorry to say. no wheels yet! but im pretty sure im going with the MC2's posted below when i do jump the wheel shark....im putting on some serious miles with the 3 x week commute from the OC to SD, so i may just go thru the "contis" first. next mod has got to be the exhaust :-) u do anything on that yet?
