How dos the 5.7 hemi engeine cover come off do you need any tools or dos it just pull off?

comes right off, no tools needed, just lift up.

Yeah no tools just lift off and be sure to line up correctly and no hoses in the way when you put it back in place and you will be find. I must say it was one of the easier mods (painting my engine cover) I've done thus far.
