Talking Headrest Changes?

Has the design of the headrest changed from 2005 to 2006? Rented a Limited and my wife says the passenger headrest is too far forward and uncomfortable. If no change is there an aftermarket headrest? I ordered the factory DVD player, and I assume the screen is not in the headrest. Thanks!

i have only seen aftermarket headrests that have the screens and dvd players in them. the factory dvd unit flips up from the center console so it can be viewed in the back seat.

The "C" has different seats than the base and limited. The SRT-8 has even differnt seats as well. Makes for more work when we R/D for the seat skins...

one thing ive always wanted to do to the interior of my car is add real CUSTOM headrests. i personally think any factory headrest in a car is just plain ugly, not to mention uncomfortable. with such a classy car like the 300,

i think it would be cool if someone could make some sort of headrests, utilizing the same light/dark graystone leather, but with an arched top in either brushed aluminum or wood.......just an idea tho.

I have an '05 C and a friend of mine has an '06 C. His headrests seem to be more rearward than mine. Mine will hold my head almost in an normal upright driving position. His will allow my head to tilt back more. I haven't messed around with the seats to see if it's just an adjustment thing, but it seemed like it was hitting my head at the same height as mine.

One of the things Chrysler changed in response to customer feedback was the angle at which the headrest canted forward. Some people who drive sitting more upright than reclined found them uncomfortable on the head and neck.

I have the 2005 300C and as a female I can say that if I have a ponytail in or similar, my headrests are uncomfortable. I have reclined my seat back a bit when wearing my hair like this and it helps but it is kind of a pain. I'd love to find different headrests as well.

I've looked at many different styles of aftermarket headrests (with the built-in DVD players/monitors), and they certainly appear to be much more comfortable than the OEM style...much less forward cant.

The only problem is the fact that I don't want headrests with built-in DVD players or monitors.
