Canbus Question?

I recently placed an order for a H11 HID kit (Morimoto) from TRS and am having second thoughts about if I should of ordered the kit with the Heavy Duty relays instead of the Canbus relays. My question is which wiring kit should I have ordered?

I contacted TRS and they reccomened just the Heavy Duty harness for the H11 fogs in my 2011 300C.

What are your guys thoughts on this?

You don't need the relay harness for the foglights. Just for the headlights if you are converting to HID lowbeams from a stock halogen setup.

So if im understanding you correctly, all I need is the supplied Heavy Duty wiring harness for my fogs.

All you need is to wire in the ballasts to the stock harness so if they are offering a harness without provisions to interface with the CanBus system, then that's the one you need.

I have no relays whatsoever in my foglight harnesses and they work flawlessly. I'd ask them why you need relays in yours.

I ended up getting the kit without the Canbus relays after explaining to TRS that these were for my fogs and not my headlights. I'll post pics of the install and all supplied parts and end results.

I ended up not liking the 3000K as much as I though I would so I ended up returning them for other reasons and opted for the 4300K this time around. I definately will post pics when they get here some time next week

The only complaint I have with the wiring of the kit to the fogs is that the kit comes pre-wired to go into headlamps because they include a rubber grommit and spade connectors that plug into the factory harness. I will end up modifying the new kit to be a cleaner install next time around with factory style connectors.

Wired up my HID kit to my factory harness and the drivers side flickers. I swapped everythgin over and it is not faulty wiring or ballast. Any idea what the problem could be?
