So where to get bulbs...

Haven't purchased any HID bulbs in awhile, and last time I did was through HIDGate. But they seem to be MIA.. And I had problems with their bulbs..

Sooo where are you all buying your replacement bulbs? I finally have projector fog lights ready to install and need H3 HID bulbs.. I'd also like to finally match my colors (headlights are different shades).. So H1's too all in 8k.

Not looking for cheap bulbs either. You get what you pay for seems to be the motto that's going for me.

Thanks in advance,

MacK

I've never had a problem with my HIDGate's. I still get all mine there. They are HIDExtra now. Still around - not MIA!

Same here but I thought they were now known as shiphid.com?

I haven't heard that. See comments below.

Well, the reason why I say they are HIDExtra now, is because last time I ordered from HIDGate's "secret site", the box that arrived had the same HIDGate products that I'm used to but all of the literature inside was HIDExtra.

But I do see what you're saying - those prices are higher. Is the "secret site" still up? I don't think I have that link and password anymore. I had it bookmarked but have a new computer since last using it.

So I'm expecting a PM from somebody... you still got it Oscar??

Hmm I just ordered a kit last week and the invoice that was inside of the package said shiphid.com/xenongate but no where did it say hidextra though. As for the secret site, that is no longer up every since they made changes and instead you have to go on shiphid.com and contact them if you were a previous customer and create a new account and they will restore the old pricing for you once your new account has been opened.

Very interesting since I'm assuming that we both had the same secret site from before since you were the one who originally shared it with me but yet at some point your order details showed hidextra and mine never did and no problem man!

Yeah, it's probably all a big conglomerate of a bunch of small companies importing these things cheap from China. I'm guessing it's all the same place - and they just can't decide who they are in any given day. As long as I can still get good HID stuff cheap then I am happy.

I see in the banner on shiphid what you were talking about - they say for old customers to contact them for old pricing..... bookmarked.

It's a possibility but the only thing I don't like about the recent changes is their warranty process.
