All of my interior LEDs are on a separate dimmer which is wired to the main dimmer circuit. I found it to be only way to match up the brightess of the OEM lighting with aftermarket LED's. My dimmer is a $5 volume control from Radio Shack mounted inside the center console under the armrest. Works like a charm.
