They do "blink" when locking or unlocking the car with the remote entry keyfob.
Mine don't. I also tried the wiring change to make them blink with the turn signals & that doesn't work on my car either.

Sounds like you have a couple of burned out bulbs too.

Do they work with the headlights turned on?

Replaced the bulbs when I put the smoked lenses on. They light up.

Perhaps something got screwed up during the the wiring change to make them flash with the turn signals? As long as they function as sidemarkers don't worry about blinks and flashes.

Re: Side marker light?

Or let them burn out and plastidip the lenses like me! I got sick of replacing the damn bulbs and the holders always got stuck... soooo I went with my lazy 'fix once and done' solution! Don't need to change bulbs if I can't see them anyway! Lol

Click here to make your side markers blink as a signal

I was looking for the mod to make my side markers blink and I found this.
It was extremely easy and I love it...
Especially when I'm next to another 300 and his does NOT blink and he looks at my car like WTF....LOL

Use LED bulbs and they won't burn out.

DESIREE and some one else had two very nice write ups on making your side markers blink. When I get home tonight I'll have my son post the threads.

I just replaced mine with smoked LED side markers. About $25 on eBay.
