Hello all, this may be a little corny to some, but I love the new look much better than the old. You can see by the pictures below that the LED bright white are very clear and bright compared to the almose yellow stock lights.
By the way, they were $16.95 plus shipping and I got 2 sets on accident. I thought they were $16.95 each, and they were actually $16.95 for a pair I asked for 2 and got 2 pair. SOOOOOOO, if anyone would like a set, please let me know on PM $18.00 shipped. If not, I will send them back.
20 people looked, 4 PMd me, and only one comment :AR15firin you guys.
Ok Ok Ok
I will give the link, even though no one will leave a comment. Here ya go, and when you order them it says $16.95 this is for 2, do not ask for 2 because you will get 4.

i think those look sweet, and have been actually waiting sometime for someone to figure out the correct bulb size as im too lazy lol.
ill prolly get a set of these eventually, although i think some dim green lights to compliment the interior dash lights would really look cool, yet very impractical (i use the 'reading lights' alot)
hey Hemi, where are you seeing these part numbers on the autolumination site? Im referring to 562, 194 etc. All I see are dimensions and I don't see the rigid looped one..their site is so confusing!) I assume the 39mm array is the one for the front reading lights?
If you wan the front under the door they are #The 562 is the 44mm rigid loop festoon. Here is a link on the other site for them. http://autolumination.com/festoon.htm
hemi and others,
Im thinking of going with the red LEDS for all the interior bulbs.. Reason being that these are only going to be used at night; to prevent the effects of "washing" out the retina by white or other colored light, the military and outdoor astronomers all use red light... I have ordered a set of reds for pure
night-vision-preserving functionality. It may take a little effort to get used to the concept but, physiologically, this makes sound sense.... What say you'all? Perhaps I should get two sets of each just to see the difference... aaagh this car is killing me!!
hmmmmm, not sure I am feeling the reds. I bought them because I saw them on a import at night at a car show get together and they looked cool. Maybe once I see the pics of the red I will like them better.
You mean you saw the reds in an import? I know that the Audis use a lot of reds in the instrument cluster for the same reason that airplane cockpit clusters have red lighting- to preserve night vision.. One reason I didnt really appreciate the green in the C's cockpit

Sorry, but is this install easy or hard? and if easy....how do you do it? (is it plug and play) I think i will be ordering everything in the the Super White color(dome lights, trunk light, oh $hit handles, under door lights....so is this something i can do, or have to take it somewhere?
Thanks
Matt
P.S. I will record a list of part #'s and description when i order them, and pics when installed...so hopefully this topic wont be so damn confusing!
Insert a scre driver up between the front of the lens (the side closest to you where you normally push up to click the light on and off) and the lens will bend a little and you will expose a clear plastic latch. Them simply pull down on the front portion of the lens that is closest to the windshield. There is a small plastic hinge part that snaps off on both sides.
This took me like 2 minutes total, if you don't want to do it, I am sure a dealer will but probably charge you for it!
The rears are easy same thing jam a screwdriver up there and wedge the lens out!

You used the multi-angle 194 replacement for the passenger domes? I would have thought the "straight ahead" version would give a better spotlight effect without distracting the driver at night.
BTW, the best led dome light I've seen used a combination of blue and amber to give a color very close to a regular incandescent bulb. It was in a Lincoln.
