I had my car parked at the supermarket Saturday and was shopping with my daughter, when we came out we couldn't even get to the car, there was like 20 people around my car trying to figure out what kinda of car it was and they were all looking at my front end..

then 2 hours later at the laundry mat, same thing, like 10 people milling around the car trying to figure out what it was, 2 guys on Harley's saw it from the intersection while sitting at the red light and came into the parking lot to check it out....

it was the Mad Eye Lids in combo with the Bentley Headlight covers that drew the attention...
That's awesome!! Looking foward to seeing these on your ride!!

I went home for lunch and found the post office delivery tag in my mailbox. I drove around the neighborhood looking for the postman but he was no where to be found. Guess I need to wait til tomorrow morning.

I got mine on saturday too. I'm not too sure about the fit though. I forgot to mention it to eugene at the time but I've got the K2 projector lights. Mr. I did your eyelids come with the 2 strips of 3m tape? If so did both strips fit flush against the light housing? They don't seem to fit flush with the tape. I put them against my stock headlights too and noticed that one of the strips of tape didn't seem to really attach to anything. I just don't want to put them on and have $184 flying off of my car at 70 MPH. I'll have to think of a way to get them mounted. On a side note, when the hood is closed they seem to hold very tightly to the car.

Does the inside of the hood rub on the eyelids at all? Do you see any paint scratches or transfer yet? I'm thinking about getting some small felt circles at the hardware store and sticking them to the inside of the hood before I install the lids.

the 3m tape is just to hold them in place and keep them straight, they appear to be pressure seated against the hood.

I had to adjust my hood bump stops to accomodate them which left a little gap where the hood meets the grill area.

I have a fix for that, just didn't have time Saturday to do it.

I did a couple of 3 - 5 mile 100+ runs without any issues (at least with the Eyelids, my Xenon window wing did manage to fly away.. )

I "redid" the 3m tape that came with them because I have the Bentley Style Headlight covers and I needed to change the location of the Eyelid tape to match the surface of the Bentley covers.

yeah, there is a little rub on mine, but as mentioned, I have the Bentley covers and that changes the way they sit...

Thanks, you just gave me an idea. I'll see if I can rearrange the or replace the 3m tape on the eyelids to fit better. I'll post some pictures once I finish the job.
