Halo Projector Headlights On Ebay

Has anybody bought some of these from ebay vendors (like k2motor)? I have read that AAC is the best but they are much more expensive than a lot of vendors on ebay. Just curious what the product difference is and why the cost is about triple for a pair of AAC headlights... I found some on Ebay for $165.

You can search and find NUMEROUS threads on this top. The AAC headlight use cathodes or something like that. Basically, they're brighter. However, they're supposed to be a pain to install yourself and many people have had problems with them not functioning correctly, fogging because of improper sealing, etc. From all the different stories I've read, it seems like you're rolling the dice with AAC. They might work, they might not.

I have a pair of the K2 projectors and they're fine. I believe they use neon lights instead of the cold cathode and they're not as bright. If you want them to be visible at night time, they'll serve they're purpose. Install was easy and besides having a few LEDs I had to play with to get them to work correctly, I didn't have one problem installing them and I haven't had one problem since then.

I'm partial to the ones on ebay because I have them. You'll get other replies from other members and you can draw your own conclusion. Just browse the forum too. I bet you won't have to go back more than 3 or 4 pages to find a thread already discussing this.

I have Halos that I purchased from AAC. The inverters that they use with them keeps burning out. I would hold off untill they can find a better inverter to power the CCFL's

eBay Motors: 05 06 07 CHRYSLER 300C LED HALO PROJECTOR HEADLIGHTS BK (item 110150701041 end time Jul-25-07 14:37:40 PDT)

While we are on the topic, I have a question... I have a SRT8 with xenon. Will these work?

Will I simply swap these in, and have the same xenon lighting just with a cooler looking angel eye affect? I like the black housing way more than the chrome.

...or you can install some Focuztech inverters in place of the AAC ones which I and many others have done and have had no problems with them AND the halos are actually brighter too!
