I have a 300 base and i just bought the 300srt taillights and i want to switch the yellow bulb to a red one. The yellow bulb says 3757A and i'm looking for a red version of this. I've gone to a whole bunch of stores but haven't been able to find anything like that. Does anyone know if the bulb number is different? Is there a different bulb that you're suppose to use?
Be careful! Isn't there a DOT regulation about turn signals having to be amber when lit?
In my state a turn signal can be Amber or Red but it has to be behind a lense it cant just be the bulb in a clear compartment. I had to do a snapload of research. I've had cops behind be a few times (in the turning lane) once I got my new tails installed and they didn't light me up.
(thank you plastic jesus on dashboard) hahaha (pet!!)
Are you guys forgetting that our amber bulbs are behind a clear lens. The front turn signals are the only ones that are required to be amber. The rears can be amber or red no matter where you are. Step outside and look at any car on the road.
You could just remove the bulb in the turn signal spot doesnt the top bulb double as the brake/turn signal.

Correct!
Rear turn signals can be either. As mentioned the stock 300 is clear over the turn signal and amber bulb. Semi truck trailers are red lens. (easiest example I could think of).
300: (clear amber bulb)
Nissan Maxima: (Red lens)
