**Stealth Auto's NEW SLIM HID KITS!!! Includes Anti-Flicker Device!!!**

Hello board members!

I'm pleased to announce that Stealth Auto has now released our slim ballast HID kits that include anti-flicker capacitors. These kits feature a slim ballast that's about a quarter the size of normal HID ballasts. Additionally, the anti-flicker capacitors ensure functionality for your entire driving experience by eliminating intermittent cut-outs inherent with most HID kits installed on stock, halogen-equipped vehicles.

Also, after much request from our customers, we have now added 3000K and 4300K bulbs to our offering. This means you can swap your stock halogen fog lights to a brighter, yellow HID kit. Another option would be to match both your headlights and foglights, which has proven to be quite a feat with regular halogen/"xenon" foglight bulbs. Swapping to an HID kit will provide a perfect match. Just for reference most 300's take an H10 in the fogs.

To see the new slim ballast HID kits on our website CLICK HERE. The first 10 orders will receive $25 off by entering HIDINTRO in the promotional code box when checking out.

The MSRP on the HID kits will be $199.95. With the $25 discount you're looking at only $175 for a complete HID kit.

Here are some images... Enjoy!

And the icing on the cake... GoofyTim's awesome before/after pictures....

Will these fit the K2 projector headlamps?

I am not familiar with the K2 projectors, but IF the OEM halogen bulb fits in the K2, then these bulbs will.

Here's some comparison shots of the bulbs themselves... Halogen on the left, HID on the right... DUH! LOL
Length...

Keying...

Preview of my write-up (without pictures)... The capacitor connects to the OEM power plug, but reversed unless you rewire the cap. connector (reversed, i.e., so the security clip of the OEM connector and pin on the cap. connector are on opposite sides). Then the other cap. power connector goes to its mate on the ballast. The output of the ballast is hardwired directly to the ignitor and then the two output wires of the ignitor connects to the two wires of the bulb via male/female keyed plugs.

Very simple. Nearly impossible to mess up... UNLESS you forget to reverse the initial power connection. In that case the lights don't light at all... not even a flicker.

Now here's a night comparison of the Magnum's Stealth Auto 6000k HIDs with the Heritage Editions OEM HID (not sure what their color is, but it must be a little under 6000k - my guess).

Stealth HIDs on the Magnum...

OEM HIDs on the Heritage Edition...

The H.E. projector bulb has a very well defined mask line (somewhat expected from a projector lens I suppose), whereas the non-projector Magnum headlamp's have a fuzzier upper cut-off. It seems apparent from these images that I may have to play with the aim of the Magnum assemblies (if I can, other than up/down) to minimize the separation between the bright spots although in driving at night there is no noticeable dim area on the roadway.

Both HIDs are SO MUCH BRIGHTER and whiter than OEM halogen bulbs! Yet nobody, so far, as flashed their lights at me indicating that I was blinding them. SO I don't hesitate to say I am VERY pleased with how this mod turned out.

The viewing distance with low beam is greatly improved without hazard to on-coming drivers as far as I can tell. The color simply is white with only a very slight twinge of blue (I suppose)... much like the Heritage Editoin bulbs and I've had those since it came last March. Never a problem with drivers or police.

Just like with the Heritage Edition, the high beams help extend vision further and broader, but you can tell there's a color difference. I'd say, although the Stealth bulbs might be a little brighter, the Mag's high beams seem to be a better intensity match than those on the H.E. But the difference (if any) is only slight.

But... I dont' have any pictures... yet... to illustrate this... could be kind of difficult, but I've got a good local road... just won't be able to use flash, etc. We'll see how it works in the next couple of days, er... nights.

My website is currently down from which I would host the Word document I prepared for the install pictorial, but I hope it will "return" within the next day or so. Otherwise, I'm going to have to recompose the pictorial within a couple of posts in a new thread...

Looking at the bulb, it looks like the projector bulbs (S) were used. What kind of light/beam output difference is to be expected when using the reflector bulbs (R) since this is a reflector headlight on Tim's car?
The focal points look right on on the S bulb, but just wondering what differences there would be.

D1R bulb:
Just to show difference between R and S... Black mask around bulb.

Can you provide details of availability?

I've read the reviews, and ordered more than 2 weeks ago. Calls to your firm indicate capacitors are not in stock.

I read somwhere today that the capacitors are on their way to Stealth from the supplier. I am confident that as soon as they are received HID orders will start shipping again.
