Auto Headlights in Touring Model?

Hey guys.

Just got my wife a 2007 300 Touring, Signature Edition, Cool Vanilla.

There are only two things she misses from her older car; the automatic on-off headlights and the HomeLink.

Does anybody know if the auto headlight thing can be installed form the 300C? I realize that there would have to be some kind of sensor for the ambient light, also.

Any help (with part numbers, if available) would be greatly appreciated.

The Homelink can be remedied with a GenTek mirror, no problem.

GREAT Forum, by the way.

If you have the light sensor on the dash like the C has then all you should need to do is remove the knob from the switch and remove the plactic tab that stops the knob from turning to the auto position. assume the icon is on the switch and just turn to that position like on the C and it should work.

Thanks a bunch, guys for the quick response.

I don't have the climate sensor, though.

Guess I could try the modified switch thing, and live with lights on with ignition on, lights off with ignition off, etc.

Again, thanks for the help.

I've just completed the auto light mod,but I have a problem, the lights come on too soon, the easter egg evic reads 197 when the lights come on but its still too light outside,I've tried adjusting the numbers but nothing doing. Is it because I have a 05 hemi C,or is it because its a U.K. model,or is it me(cant possibly be me,im a male.lol).Can somebody help with this matter or do I have to live with it,thanks
