AT FIRST I SAID 4300K, AFTER I THOUGHT ABOUT IF, IF YOUR GONNA INSTALL HID, YOU SHOULD GET THE BEST OF WHAT IT OFFERS, THE BRIGHTNESS AND THE COLOR, SO I CHANGE MY MIND AND WENT AHEAD AND BOUGHT 6000K, NOT TOO BLUE AND STILL PLENTY BRIGHT
6000 Kelvin should be brighter. 8000 K gets in to the Blue range. If you want to light for show, pick you poison. If you go really fast at night and have deer and other car eliminators that you need to see at 180 plus get the 6000 K ones.
go for 6000K just got mine and installed..not a dissapointment at all...adds more class to the car then the 8000K..most 8000K you'll see on the honda tuners.
I just ordered the slim digital HID kit from stealth auto today. They say it'll arrive in a week or so. I'll post pics after install. They'll be 6,000k because I think the 8,000k will be too blue. I chose Stealth auto over two other vendors.
I did not go with Fashtek cause they never answer the phone. I left them numerous messages. Even though they were the cheapest, you cant trust someone who can return calls or whom you can't get a hold of.
I did not go with XenonDeopt because of price and more importantly..warranty. A 1yr warranty means 'no good ' to me. Steve is very imformative and friendly, But if he backed his product up with a better warranty, I would've bought 'em. They were also the most expensive ones at around $220 plus a $25 shipping/handling fee. I WILL more than likely buy other things from them though.
Stealth auto has a lifetime warranty on this product and it is made in the USA. They even gave me the $25 discount even after the promotion expired. Friendly service over the phone and good feedback is the reason I chose them. I'll let you know when I get my kit and install it!
i had this problem when i was getting my HIDs(not 300c but my explorer) me and my freind both decided we wanted 6000ks... dont get me wrongthe 8Ks looks amazing but i wanted the most useable light possible with our almost 20hr darkness in winter. i think its all in your needs...but i LOVE my 6ks have them in both my heads/fogs
