anyone know about these HIDs...

I want to get my hands on some HIDs. Ill most probably go with Stealth, but I want to see what else is out there.

Has anyone heard of these?..

http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/pts/416488007.html

I sent him an email:

2007 chrysler 300 base. (regular halogen bulbs)

how much for 6000k HIDs that will fit my stock headlights and into
projectors in the future

by the way, are these "slim" kits, or regular thickness?

he replied:

Hello,

You have 9006 low beams, 9005 high beams.I can get you and HID kit for
either beam, or for both.

I carry 2 different brands:
1. Latsun - Chinese made, these are some of the best kits in China, I have
tested about 10 different factories before choosing them. Good kits.
2. GHC - Taiwan made, with imported Korean HID bulbs. These kits are top of
the line and I HIGHLY recommend them. They are significantly higher quality
than Latsun or anything out of China, and will last you a long time.

You can get any of the kits (9006, 9005):
Latsun - $110
GHC - $160

These are pickup prices, and the prices do not include 8.25% sales tax.

If you get projectors, you may need a different bulb type (depending on the
projector), but I can sell you the bulbs alone in the future, you won't need
new ballasts.

These are regular thickness kits. Latsun does make Slim kits, but I want to
warn you the slim kits are a new design for most manufacturers out there,
and I have seen that the quality is not very good yet, high rate of defects.
I can get you Latsun SLIM kits for $160.

Regards,
Leo

without projector 300c lamps you will be illegal in most states. the lens you have was not designed for HID bulbs and will blind oncoming drivers. I continue to see this in rice burners and now a crap ;load of Escalade wannabes. Please think of the other drivers and get the Projector lamps if you want HID...

I run HID's in all of my cars with no issues. HID's are an excellent upgrade and, though they may not be legal in some states, provide much more light than OEM halogens and are therefore much safer.

As long as your headlights aren't pointed straight forward you will not have issues installing an HID kit in a non-projector headlight.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Aaron

Pay a little more and go with Stealth Auto! You hear more positive reviews here with them than that other guy. Remember, you get what you pay for....
My slim kit should be here today or tommorrow. I'll give you a better opinion once I install them if you can wait a day or so.
