8000K Iceberg Blue HID fog lights Install pics, and light pics.

Ok for all of you that have been following my posts about the HID fog kit not working, its finally in and working. From what I understand, some of these kits were wired backwards. SO to fix, I reversed the wires going into the inverter and I got one side to work! Strangley enough I wanted to test the bulb to see if it was blow, so I reversed the bulbs from the drivers side to the passenger side, and they work now. STRANGE.

I ordered the H10 lights (9145) and the color I chose was the same as 300Csrt8 did. The 8000K Iceberg Blue. I think the match is great, but honestly I think I will use these more at dusk when I just use the parking lights. THEY ARE SUPER BRIGHT. Below are some pics of what you get in the kit and a link to the Ebay store I paid $80.00 including shipping. First there is a balast that the plug from the car plugs into. Then from there, there are 2 wires that plug into the new bulb and socket that goes into the hole where the factory bulb once was.

The install was easy, after spending time trying to get them to work. I think it certainly was worth the wait. Thank you to 300Csrt8 again for the find on these lights and to MRINCREDIBLE for figuring the whole mess out! Thank goodness I found him over on the LXforum!

The first two fog pics are with flash, last two without!

I'd love to see a really low K bulb, like 1k. That low it might be RED. That would like soooo nice.

Sorry Hemi, I'm going blue. But I would love to see yellow and purple as well.

Well, I guess I didnt want to take these pictures, because then I would want new Headlight bulbs... How do I get the same bulbs for the stock HID? The headlights are so much worse. They are very white in comparison. I love the new lights look.. DO I need another kit like I bought for the fogs or simply just the bulbs?

Ha it was only a matter of time.

You could just swap the HID's out and use another after market one, sure. Or you could go to stealthauto or xenondepot and get the replacement bulb to just plug in. However not all 8k bulbs end up looking exactly the same. So for what you know will be a PERFECT match you might to pick up another set from the same buyer.

If I get a set from him again, will I use just the bulb? Or do I use the balast and everything?

Look like it would be the ballast and everything. You remember the kit right? From the pictures it looks like the bulb is hardwired. Unless you can pop the bulb out (which I can not tell from the pictures) I would say it would be the ballast too.
