Headlights blink on and off

While driving, my high density lights will blink on and off. Of course, when I took the car to the dealer, the lights worked just fine. Anyone having similiar experiences? Anyone know what to do?

they're called high intensity, not high density.

if they're not factory-installed, they might flicker. the cheaper kits found on ebay and craigslist have a reputation for flickering. if they're the factory-installed units, i don't know what to tell ya.

Do you have a stock or aftermarket HID (high intensity discharge) lighting kit? Our anti-flicker capacitors may just be an easy fix.

I had the same exact problem with my factory HIDs. The dealer replaced the entire headlight assembly on the affected side and it solved the problem. This was after they tried replacing the switch assembly and the sensor for the auto-headlights.

Also, the lights always worked perfectly when I'd bring it to the dealer. I asked that one of the mechanics keep it for the weekend and that's when he was finally able to duplicate the problem.
