How about cornering lights in the side markers?

Pimp idea perhaps? Might need to make the side markers a tad longer, but I think it'd be doable, except it might blind people, lol.

I think he means converting his side marker lamps into turn indicators. Shouldn't be too hard actually, just link the wiring of the side markers in with the relay for the blinkers.

Nah, I was thinking about how cadillacs have cornering lights (for example, when you have the right turn signal on, a cornering light on the right comes on illuminating the immediate right of your car, handy especially if you have projector headlights).

It might require some bumper work (either making the spot bigger or to allow for a deeper lens), but it could be neat, and wouldn't necessarily mean having to get rid of the side marker bulb itself (especially if the lens for the cornering light is angled down).

Thought it was worth a thought, lol
